Lewis, a 30 something loser obsessed with tactical and prepping culture, finally has the chance to prove himself to his loved ones when the apocalypse arrives on his doorstep.

When he tries to keep his family safe, rescue his elderly father and get everyone out of harm's way, things do not go as he had planned. Being an overweight, uncoordinated and undisciplined man makes it difficult to do what has to be done especially during a time when there are no second chances.
